Finally found an inexpensive lotion that doesn’t burn when I have an eczema flare-up. My hands will crack open and most lotions cause those spots to burn. Having eczema, I have to keep lotion on my hands at all times. I have tried SO MANY different lotions, from super cheap store brands to expensive brands. Stumbled across Palmer’s Coconut Oil body lotion and thought I’d try yet another lotion because of the great low price. So glad I did. It absorbs quickly and has a pleasant smell. Makes my skin very soft but not greasy at all. Love it!
The before photo shows a wide deep crack that was very painful. I also had several other thickening spots that were threatening to crack open as well. After 8 days the large crack has closed and the thickening skin has softened. The thickening skin has peeled off rather than deepen and crack. If you have eczema, you know peeling is a good thing and means you’re near the end of it’s cycle.
I walk 4-8 miles/day on concrete, tile, ice and rubberized floors, so my feet take a beating. Each morning I put two coats on each foot (about a minute to soak in) then add the socks. Feet stay moisturized for the day.
Don’t put on before showering, as you’ll slip-n-slide; put on after.
Note to the wise: unlike cocoa butter lotion, always wash your hands after using this coconut oil lotion, because if you eat food or accidentally lick ? your fingers —you’ll find this lotion unfortunately tastes terrible. ?

I’m glad I found your review on Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula. My wife had exzema flare ups on her legs and I am always trying to find products that help with that, but most of them are too expensive and doesn’t work. Wow, thanks for this article. Palmer products are good and all-natural. It is a natural and good moisturizer that absorbs quickly and has a pleasant smell. that makes the skin very soft but not greasy. A friend of mine uses it, her skin glows and I am getting it really soon. It delivers rich moisture for beautiful looking hair and skin.
